Is that a Dorset tent ring? Seems pretty big. Could it be a mix or many rings over the years?
There is some evidence for Dorset at this site, but nothing diagnostic came out of this ring. I agree it looks too big to be Dorset. More likely its an early Inuit ring, from before canvas tents were introduced in the mid-20th century.
