While the downtown location was pretty fancy, I always hated the difficulty of trying to find a parking spot.John Erwinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11557136521355806134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5086026991280831425.post-38180085549432377502009-10-30T21:18:20.248-02:302009-10-30T21:18:20.248-02:30Thanks. I was thinking about lurking around in the woods once hunting season is over to see if I can find anything the hunters left behind. I even though about sticking a sign at the end of the driveway, since we have guys in blaze orange driving by here all the time, but on second thought that didn't seem like such a good idea.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15591496448157097079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5086026991280831425.post-34639334010700050812009-10-30T12:19:34.871-02:302009-10-30T12:19:34.871-02:30I'll keep my ears open. I needed some a couple years back for a reproduction of a moose bone dagger from the Mackenzie Delta and it took me a long time to get my hands on some. I was finally led by a friend of a friend to a winter-killed young moose in the woods.Timhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11473674521424237610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5086026991280831425.post-3465443451986874252009-10-30T10:10:53.855-02:302009-10-30T10:10:53.855-02:30Not that this has anything to do with craft fairs,...Not that this has anything to do with craft fairs, but do you know any hunters who might be disposing of moose and/or caribou lower leg bones (metacarpals and metatarsals especially)? I'm planning to make some bone folders and those are the best materials. Even deer would be okay.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15591496448157097079noreply@blogger.com
